Full transparency on how The Midlife Journal is funded, which brands we have commercial relationships with, and how that affects our editorial decisions.

How this influences our editorial
We do not write about a brand simply because they offer an affiliate partnership. We evaluate products against the same criteria regardless of commercial relationship: ingredient quality, clinical evidence, manufacturing standards, and whether we would recommend the product to a friend.
When we recommend a product that is also an affiliate partner, we label the recommendation clearly — usually with a "Sponsored · Editor's Pick" tag above the recommendation, and always with an "affiliate partnership" note near the link itself.
We may write critically about products that we do not have affiliate relationships with, and we may decline to recommend products that we have affiliate relationships with if we conclude they do not meet our standards.
FTC compliance
This disclosure is published pursuant to 16 CFR Part 255 and the FTC's Endorsement Guides. Where required, individual articles also include disclosure statements at the point of recommendation.
